Prince of Egypt!
When to arrive:
Anytime after 3.30pm - when you are ready.
What to expect:
An awesome fun filled afternoon, jam packed with some great activities that will explore the promise of "God for us" as evident in the long history of His goodness to His people. We specifically look at this as it unfolded in the life of Moses, the Prince of Egypt. The God who worked out a great plan through Moses, is the same God at work in our lives today, with great plans for you and for me. Join us as we explore how God's plans unfold in the midst of seemingly crises situations; and how He is always for us, even if it is sometimes difficult to see or understand. Some of the activities will be sporty others will be crafty, some will be active, others will be reflective. Your children will enjoy leading you from activity to activity! At about 4.30pm we will wrap up our activity time and gather for our brief celebration time during which the story will be shared. We will finish the afternoon with a simple meal that has been prepared with love by our Messy Church community catering team.
What to bring:
Your family and friends, your neighbours and grandparents! (if you wish - a piece of fruit to share)
When does it finish?
by 5.30pm

Conversation Starters with Kids:
God chose Moses to do some pretty big things, even though Moses wasn’t sure he could do them. Have you ever done something really big, even though you were scared? Discuss it together as a family.
Moses didn’t think he was special enough to be a part of God’s rescue plan, but God still wanted to use him! Have you ever doubted yourself? What big things do you think God wants you to do? How could you ask God to help you do them?
