Baptism
Small groups
Baptism is one of God's special ways of showing us his love. In Baptism God washes away our mess. He forgives us and gives us the promise of eternal life. He welcomes us into his family and fills us with his Spirit. Baptism is a spiritual washing using water and God's name. Have you been baptised? If not, how about learning more about Baptism and the confidence we can receive by believing in Jesus and being baptised. Contact Pastor Greg and he would be more than happy to teach you some more and, if you desire, help you prepare for your own baptism.
First Communion
Holy Communion is another one of God's special ways of showing us his love. It is a meal that we share regularly at our Sunday morning worship. Baptised children who are 8 years of age and older and are showing interest in receiving Holy Communion are invited to prepare for their first communion. Pastor Nigel offers a short 4 session course that involves both the child and parent. For more information contact Pastor Greg.

Confirmation
Confirmation is a traditional rite in the Lutheran Church, celebrated by teenagers who were baptised as infants. In the rite of Confirmation the candidate receives the same blessing that they received when they were baptised as a way of reaffirming God's promises to them. In the lead up to their confirmation Pastor Greg shares a 6 session course called GIFT which celebrates the relationship God established with us at our baptism. This program also involves the young person's parent. For more information contact Pastor Greg.
