Daniel was a man who knew God and prayed to God. He trusted in God and would not turn away from God's promises to him! The Story of Daniel is in the Old Testament of the Bible.
His story begins when the Jews were suffering under the persecution of a pagan king. The visions explain that God would restore his chosen people.
The Book of Daniel has 12 chapters. The first 6 chapters speak of Daniel and his friends. In the 6th Chapter we have the famous account of Daniel in the Lion's Den.
